Our first formal studies were in physics (A) and chemistry (N), followed by psychology and anthropology (ANG)
PLACES
At various times in life, we lived for extended periods in Western Europe, Russia, Tropical Africa, Georgia and on an Atlantic island.
We are deeply grateful to all these places for their invaluable experiences.

TEACHERS
After our parents, we consider our main teachers to be Umberto Eco, Ray Bradbury, and Federico Mayor Zaragoza, with whom we were fortunate to meet and communicate.

Our son is a constant and essential participant; our grandson and granddaughter are the key “provocateurs-inspirers” of all our projects.

For many years – one mobile phone, one email address, and one social media profile for the two of us.
BEASTS
Dogs are permanent members of the family and companions. For many years, we have also had close friends and mentors among free dolphins and whales.
THE HIVE
Maurice Maeterlinck once gave this name to his house in the south of France. Friends would constantly gather there, “swarming and making honey” — music, paintings, poems…
Inspired by his example, we turn the houses where we live long enough into creative hives, where new things are imagined and created.
The main one is the Dolphin Embassy Residence in the Canary Islands, where you might, on any given day, find musicians, quantum physicists, deep-sea captains, and ethologists under one roof.
Here you’ll find the “White Hole” bar, a recording studio, a museum of oddities, a navigation center for sea journeys — and in the main hall, a hundred named chairs for the “residents.”

TITLES
Among all the awards and titles, the one we treasure most is our shared membership in the International Academy of Fools (Paris), founded by the great trickster Slava Polunin.
